In the last decade or so Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technologies have progressively seen a rising shift towards multiple fields including oncology, genetic disorders and infectious diseases. It has been widely used for genetic testing and disease diagnosis, as well as in predictive, preventive, personalized, and participatory medicine approach. The associated costs have also dropped over the years. This also makes it important to create awareness on the fundamentals, theory and practical utility of the technology.
With this in mind, C-CAMP and Premas Lifesciences Pvt Ltd have collaborated to organize a focused 3-day clinical, targeted, hands-on technical workshop with training sessions on clinical solutions, wet lab Library preparation, and NGS run, followed by data analysis.
